Marc C. Smith
Managing Partner
Marc Smith co-founded LCS in 2005 and continues to serve as a Managing Partner. Since LCS's inception Marc has managed the sales, research and development, contract negotiation and legal aspects of the company. He also manages the global logistics and import compliance efforts and assists in export and ITAR compliance, freight invoice auditing, hazmat, vehicle regulatory issues and most other services. Marc has 25 years of experience in many Operations and Sales Operations disciplines including supply chain management, production control, global logistics, fulfillment, distribution and all areas of trade compliance. He has significant experience in the development, implementation, streamlining and cost reduction of manufacturing, distribution, fulfillment and logistics/transportation networks. This experience has provided major benefits to the LCS customer base. Prior to founding LCS, Marc served in Senior Management roles in the area of Operations Management, Global Logistics, Trade Compliance for Aliph, ViVOtech Incorporated, Actel Corporation, IXMicro and S3 Incorporated. Marc holds degrees in International Business and Operations Management as well as certificates in Demand Driven Supply Chain, Logistics, Traffic Management, Inventory Control and Purchasing.
Daniel Dominguez
Managing Partner
Daniel Dominguez co-founded LCS in 2005 and continues to serve as a Managing Partner. Since LCS's inception Daniel has managed the marketing, business development and technology aspects of the company including setting IT and operational policies. He manages all of the encryption and hazmat efforts of LCS and assists in import, export and ITAR Compliance, freight invoice auditing, vehicle regulatory issues and most other services. Daniel has 15 years of experience in many Operations disciplines including Production Control, Global Logistics, Fulfillment, Distribution and all areas of Trade Compliance. He has significant experience in encryption, software and ITAR. Prior to founding LCS, Mr. Dominguez served in Senior Management roles in the areas of Materials Management, Global Logistics and Trade Compliance at BEA Systems, Actel Corporation, Allied Recovery, IXMicro and S3 Incorporated. Mr. Dominguez holds a degree in Business Administration as well as certificates in Logistics, Transportation Management, Materials Management and Inventory Control.
